My Take on Faux Bone

Just a quick pic for you all, to confirm that I'm a ridiculous maverick that can't leave well enough alone. Here's my take on faux bone. Lots of cutting, filing, and sanding, a little bit of acrylic to antique... then a bunch of colored pencils. I'm not sure what to do with the thing yet, and I'm thinking I'll have to seal the pencil some how. But it's my first try with this faux bone material, and I'm kind of proud of it.

Hee hee! I thought you might. It's funny, a while back I started trying to push myself toward colors I didn't usually use, and now I can't seem to stop! Lol!

Hey, I got your email... I'll try to get one back tomorrow. Caio, Bella!

Cool colors!
Don't know if you remember me, Melanie, but we've commented back and forth on PC Central boards in the past (I make PC masks, among other things, and my sister's name is Melanie, too).
Love your new blog, and your work is lovely, as usual.

Hi Michelle! Of course I remember you, and how could I forget your masks! Just lovely!

Thanks for the kind words. You're very sweet. And blue, it seems. Lol! I checked out your blog, and I took the color test you posted... and guess what color I am. Blue! At least I am today. ;)

Hey, have you noticed they've changed the Polymer Clay Central format? It threw me for a loop.
